Hot and Sticky

Pour some sugar on the hot ladies at SweetHeat Miami.

It’s apparently every guy’s fantasy to watch hot chicks make out with each other, but guess what, frat boys? Not every hot chick aspires to be Tila Tequila. We hate to break this to you, but it’s entirely possible that lesbian love doesn’t exist solely for your pornographic pleasure. In fact ladies who love ladies probably ain’t trying to party around a bunch of dudes who gawk at their every move while casting them in their own personal Skinemax flick. Which is why we’re letting the horndogs know: SweetHeat Miami is solely for the Sapphic sisters. Consider yourself damn lucky if you’re invited along for the fun, which includes four fabulous days of themed parties, fashion shows, contests, and more parties.

SweetHeat describes itself as Black Pride 2008, and it aims to promote and celebrate the health, strength, and visibility of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women of color. The social networking event will revolve around having a good time, but a portion of funds will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation of America. Shake it like a pompom for a good cause at Friday’s Lipstick and Pumps Red Affair at Club Dream (1532 Washington Ave., Miami Beach) or at Saturday’s All White Affair at Club Indra (841 Washington Ave., Miami Beach). The event’s highlight is sure to be Saturday night’s Club Dream bash — Crème de la Femme Ball — hosted by the legendary Jaime Balenciaga (of the House of Balenciaga, natch) and Mother Reign Moulin. The whole femme-azing celebration begins at the Lovers and Friends Meet and Greet, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Carlton Hotel. Visit www.sweetheatmiami.com for a complete schedule of events.
